THE FOURTH “TRIUMPH INTERNATIONAL” AWARD CEREMONY 2019, NOBEL PRIZE OF EUROPE

On December, 30th, 2019 in Italy, at the Royal Hall in Arezzo, Olga Kuzmicheva, the President of the “Triumph International” Award awarded Maestro Andrea Trovato with the “Triumph International” Award, dedicated to the United Nation International Human Solidarity Day in the nomination «Global Culture».

After the solemn Award Ceremony, we got exclusive interviews for the “La Nota della Pace” with the President of the “Triumph International” Award, Olga Kuzmicheva, and the pianist Andrea Trovato, who was awarded the “Triumph International” Award in the “Global Culture» nomination.

  • President Olga Kuzmicheva, what the Fourth Ceremony of the “Triumph International” Award 2019 was dedicated to?

Olga Kuzmicheva: The Fourth “Triumph International” Award Ceremony was dedicated to the United Nations’ (UN) International Human Solidarity Day.

In the «Global Culture» nomination was awarded the outstanding Italian pianist Andrea Trovato, a compatriot of the laureates of the previous “Triumph International” Award Ceremonies: Ennio Morricone, Franco Zeffirelli, Michele Placido.

  • Maestro Andrea Trovato, in ancient times the philosopher Plato said: «Music and rhythm find their way to the hidden places of the soul.» Do you think music can unite the hearts of people, and what is the role of music in the development of consolidation and solidarity between peoples in all the world in modern society?

Andrea Trovato: Music has the ability to talk  to the heart of people without a language filter, without social differences, without cultural and geographical origins. This is the mystery of the intangible nature of music, its being in the unity of sound and communication without words. It is an universal language that overcomes every barrier, directly touching the deep strings of the human soul. Thanks to this quality, music becomes a powerful instrument of peace, which contributes to the strengthening of solidarity and friendship between peoples.

This is great that in a Grand concert Hall, hundreds of people from different countries are excited and moved in unison with the music. The live concert becomes a moment of unity and communication between lots of very different people. The power of Verdi’s opera music, Tchaikovsky’s symphony, Beethoven’s sonatas, or Bach’s compositions crosses the borders of every country and can help us understand how the human soul instinctively desires the love, peace, joy, friendship, compassion, and the well-being of humanity.

The music always unites and musicians become such important ambassadors of peace, carriers of a great mission. As a concert pianist around the world, I am proud to be able to bring the music to so many people in order to bring together with the music the beauty, peace, and new emotions in which there is a huge need.

  • President Olga Kuzmicheva, what is friendship and solidarity of peoples for you in today’s global society?

Olga Kuzmicheva: In my opinion, words about friendship and solidarity between peoples should have a special resonance for world civilization. I fully agree with Cicero, who said: «There is nothing better or more pleasant in the world than friendship; to exclude it from human life would mean depriving humanity of sunlight.»

And I believe that the creative sounds of peace are the most beautiful sounds for all of humanity, as they give the melody of peace and life to the entire global world!

As the Author, Founder and President of the “Triumph International” Award, I am deeply touched and proud that Italian diplomats and the International media have compared the “Triumph International” Award to the Nobel Prize calling it the Nobel Prize of Europe.

The motto of the “Triumph International” Award is to follow the philosophy of friendship, consolidation, solidarity and peace, and to promote the development of International relations in accordance with the United Nations Charter.

I would like to wish all the peoples of the world a Serene and Happy New Year 2020!
